Guarantee and Repair

WARRANTY

All Brabantia products have been developed, produced and tested based on a high quality standard. If there is something wrong with the Brabantia product, and the customer possesses proof that the warranty period has not yet expired, Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) will provide the right advice, a replacement part or a replacement product. This depends entirely on the problem and the situation.

Depending on the type of product, the customer is entitled to a 2, 3, 5 or 10-year warranty. The exact warranty period can be found on the Brabantia website or the packaging of the product. The warranty starts on the day of the purchase of the product.

The Brabantia warranty is valid when the product exhibits a defect that is attributable to manufacturing, and:

  • The product was purchased as new;
  • The product was purchased in the Philippines from Garden Barn, Inc. or its accredited sellers;
  • The product is used in a domestic environment (with the exception of products designed and developed for outdoor use, such as our tumble dryers);
  • The product is used for its intended purpose;
  • The product has been used or installed as described in the instruction manual (when applicable);
  • Proof of purchase (including date of purchase, name of store and name of product) that the warranty period has not yet expired can be provided;
  • Product’s defect can be proved

The Brabantia warranty expires when:

  • The customer cannot prove that the warranty period has not yet expired.
  • The product has not been used in a household environment (e.g. in public areas).
  • The product has not been serviced or has been improperly maintained.
  • The product was not used for the purpose for which it was made.
  • A repair or modification has been carried out/made to the product by or on behalf of someone other than Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines)
  • The customer cannot demonstrate the defect or provide a satisfactory representation for review.
  • The product was not purchased new (but, for example, as a second-chance item).
  • The product was purchased from a different vendor, unaccredited seller or a different territory outside the Philippines.

Professional use of Brabantia products in, for example, a hotel, public area or hospital will invalidate the guarantee. Should anything be wrong with the products, a commercial solution will be sought.

REPAIR

After the report is sent to Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines), the team will check the damage/defect to determine if it is covered under warranty or not. This depends on the type of damage.

  • Was the damage or defect caused by use? Then it isn't compensated for under warranty. This usually concerns a dent, scratch, stain or breakage. Does your product have a dent, scratch, stain or breakage upon receipt? Then report the product for a return within the specified return period.
  • Does the damage or defect have anything to do with (a failure with) production? Was the product delivered to you with a scratch/dent? Then this will be reimbursed under warranty, provided the request meets the warranty conditions.

Shipping and Returns

DELIVERY

Shipping Fees may vary with amount, volume of purchase, and location. Delivery schedules will run during business days (Mondays to Fridays), unless otherwise specified. As of writing, Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) Online only serves orders within Metro Manila.

A Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) Online Logistics Delivery Team member or a nominated courier (Grab, Lalamove, Borzo, etc.) will get in touch with you upon delivery of your order.

Normal delivery time of orders is 3 to 5 working days upon receipt of order confirmation, subject to availability of items. Should there be an increase in the volume of orders, kindly expect a delay in delivery. Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) appreciates your understanding on this matter.

Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) currently does not allow pick-up to ensure timely delivery of items.

RETURNS

Refund policy is valid for 7 days upon receipt of the item. Unfortunately, Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) cannot offer a refund or exchange after this period. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition when it was received. Only reasons such as wrong item delivered, factory damaged, faulty, damaged or defective items are eligible for a return.

Kindly send photos and/or videos of any damages or problems in the delivery of the item. Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) double checks the packaging and products before handing it out for delivery. If there are any problems, kindly send an email to brabantia@gardenbarninc.ph for the concern to be addressed.

Details of the delivery shall be coordinated through email (and Messaging Apps or SMS, if necessary). Delivery is done by a nominated courier (Grab, Lalamove, Borzo etc.) or through Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) Online Logistics Delivery Team.

REFUNDS

​ For returns, Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) will notify the customer once it has received and inspected the return. Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) will also notify the customer if the return has been approved or rejected.

Refund approval can take 2-3 working days. If approved, the customer will be refunded through the original payment method. Kindly take note that it would take up to 15-30 working days for the customer’s bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

EXCHANGES (IF APPLICABLE)

Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) only replaces faulty, defective, or damaged items. If a customer wishes to exchange an item for the same item, kindly send an email to brabantia@gardenbarninc.ph and the team will notify you of the next procedures.

Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) online store accepts payments accredited with Paynamics Technologies, Inc. to ensure a secure process of payment.

The Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) online store accepts the ff. payment methods:

  1. Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB and AMEX)
  2. Debit Cards
  3. E-wallet (GCash, Maya)

Currently, Cash on Delivery and installment payments are not accepted.

All payment methods are processed real-time. In case an error occurs, you will be notified on the webpage. You may also contact the Garden Barn, Inc. (Brabantia Philippines) team to confirm the status of your payment.
